Week 6- Trip to Wales and the C.A.T.

This week, we were given the opportunity to visit the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). This was an eventful day and was helpful in giving more context to my studies and the major brief. We had a lecture about how we might achieve a 'Zero Carbon Britain'. The theatre we had a lecture in was made out of comprssed mud, it is a very interesting concept and felt fun to touch. We then did a few workshops organising the order of things. One of the tasks was to order our needs as humans from important to none important. This was quite a difficult task and it also showed what things we rely too much on.

Next we had a look around the whole centre. There were a lot of projects and other things happening all around, it was actually quite fun looking around. Here are all the (good) photos I took:
